Testing samples were taken from the Roman Catholic cathedral in Cremona, Lombardy (northern Italy) and diagnostic research indicated a serious problems related to capillary rising damp. Diagnostic process followed the installation of the PROTECTiT SRD dehumidification system in the crypt of the Cathedral.

After 12 weeks of installation, there was a sharp decrease of moisture in the walls with peaks of 70%.
This great success confirms the accuracy of the diagnostics and effectiveness of the PROTECTiT SRD device.

In just 16 weeks the dehumidification process stabilised the value of moisture in the walls between 2% and 4%.
